Leave a Legacy through Planned Giving
Consider a Legacy Gift to the Hope Fund
The Hope Fund supports the long-term strength and stability of Rowan Helping Ministries. Established through a generous bequest from Hope Uzzell, the fund helps ensure our work can continue and evolve to meet community needs.
Legacy gifts to the Hope Fund provide flexibility and foresight, allowing Rowan Helping Ministries to plan responsibly for the future.
Why Include Rowan Helping Ministries in Your Will?
At Rowan Helping Ministries, we walk alongside neighbors in Rowan County who are facing hunger, homelessness, and financial crisis. Grounded in faith and guided by compassion, our work meets urgent needs while helping people move toward stability, dignity, and hope.
Every day, volunteers and staff come together to provide nourishing food, safe shelter, and supportive services that help individuals and families rebuild their lives. This work is both immediate and long-term — responding to today’s crises while investing in brighter tomorrows.
Including Rowan Helping Ministries in your will or estate plan is a meaningful way to ensure this mission continues for years to come. Planned gifts create lasting impact, providing stability and flexibility so we can meet evolving community needs and care for neighbors when they need it most.
There are many ways to make a planned gift, including through a will or trust, retirement assets, life insurance policies, real estate, or other assets. Your attorney or financial advisor can help you determine the option that best aligns with your values and goals.
If you’re not ready to make a planned gift, you can still support this work through a pledge or recurring contribution.
To learn more or begin a confidential conversation, please contact Cress Goodnight, Executive Director, at cgoodnight@rowanhelpingministries.org or 704-637-6838 x101.
